dc.description.abstract | The study showed that chilgoza (Pinus gerardiana wall ) seed treated with fungal filtrate ( Toxin ) altered the dehydrogenase along with alteration in permeability of the plasma membrane. A considerable delay in pink color development of TZ in the toxin treated tissues was observed due to the time taken by the enzyme to regain its strength or activity . In the culture filtrates of Aspergillus fumigatus , Curvularia lunata , Penicillium cyclopium and Tricho the cium roseum the active toxins were detected by this method and compared with conductivity method . A significant correlation ( r = 0.88 ) was observed between TZ test and conductivity test. | en_US |
