The land use requirements of grape were matched with land qualities of seven soil series mapped for delineating the potential areas. The temperature. relative humidity, soil texture, depth, pH, drainage and gravel content" ere used in suitability evaluation. The rainfall and humidity during flowering and fruiting period are suitable. The major limiting factors are pH, gravels in the soil and drainage.
