dc.description.abstract | Desized, scoured and bleached jute fabric of 202 GSM and thickness 0.86 mm were treated with soyabean seed extract to modified and study the effect of pH on dyeing properties, colour interaction parameters including colour strength of the treated fabric. The jute fabric were mordanted using different mordants with different percentage of soyabean extract resulting that 75:25 ratio of Harda and aluminium sulphate at overall 15 % application level offers maximum K/S value for modified jute fabric with soyabean extract. Dyeing operation was carried out by using a natural dye, Babool for different pH level viz; pH 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12, where pH 12 is the optimized value with dyeing temperature 65oC, dyeing time 60 min, MLR 1:20, salt 5 gpl and dye concentration of 30. Treatment of jute fabric with soyabean extract shows better receptive and enhanced dyeing for jute fabric. | en_US |
