dc.description.abstract | Under ZT planting production and monetary efficiencies are similar and PUE is less as compared to CT plots, but there is a saving of about 10 kg/ha externally applied P2O5 fertilizer without any yield penalty. This can lower the cost of cultivation and saves the fertilizer use, however under long-term study in ZT this scenario may be different and ZT may increase PUE as compared to CT plots and doses may also vary for maximum economic benefit.
