| Abstract/Description: | Software has been developed for obtaining the pedigree ancestry of an animal up to 6 generations of an animal in livestock farm in a graphical way. The software also has provision for computing inbreeding coefficient of an animal and relationship coefficient between two animals. Further the program gives the unrelated bucks for each doe for any set of bucks and does. These features are useful for reducing inbreeding in livestock farms. The program has been developed in Visual Basic 6.0 software on Windows 98 platform. |
