| dc.description.abstract | Capsule borer, Conogathes (Dichocrocis) punctifaralis Guen. (Pyralida:Lepidoptera), is a devastating pest of castor crop in India. Chemical measures are not effective in managing the pest. Therefore, 55 castor germplasm accessions were screened under caged conditions against capsule borer. Diverse reaction of castor gerplasm accessions against capsule borer was observed. Five accessions viz., RG-1934, RG-2546, RG-2770, RG-2786 and RG-2543 were found promising against capsule borer with 14 to 25% capsule damage as against 84% in DCS-9 | en_US |
