| Abstract/Description: | THE PAPER SUGGESTS THAT BENCH TERRACES IN THE NILGIRIS COULD BE PROVIDED INWARD GRADE OF 2% FOR MORE POTATO YIELD THAN ALL OTHER HIGHER INWARD GRADES. THIS GRADE WAS FOUND TO BE SUITABLE FOR RETENTION OF MOISTURE AND EFFICIENT DRAINAGE IN HEAVY RAINFALL MONTHS TO CREATE A SUITABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR PLANT GROWTH. |
