HB3, HB4 AND HB-5 , WERE EVALUATED IN THE BLACK SOILS OF BELLARY UNDER DRY-CUM-WET IRRIGATION FOR TWO KHARIF SEASONS OF 1973 AND 1974, WITH THE APPLICATION OF GRADED DOSES OF NITROGEN AT 0, 40,80 120,160 AND 200kg/ha.
