| Abstract/Description: | SOIL CONSERVATION PRACTICES INCLUDE MEASURES LIKE BENCH TERRACES , BUNDING AND TERRACING ON SLOPING LANDS, CONSERVATION BENCH TERRACES AND DITCHES LAID ON CONTOUR. THESE PRACTICES PREVENT/ REDUCE SPLASH EROSION , ENTRAINMNET, HYDRAULIC EROSION AND FACILITATE SEDIMENT DEPOSITION. IN THIS PAPER , MODELLING OF THE COMMONLY USED CONSERVATION PRACTICES HAS BEEN PRESENTED. THESE CONCEPTS HELP IN DEVELOPING ALGORITHMS FOR OBTAINING SOLUTIONS ON COMPUTERS FOR MODEL PROCESSES AND DATA HANDLING SO THAT DATA TRANSFER BECOMES EASIER AND ENABLE DECISION MAKING SIMPLER. |
