| Abstract/Description: | Several crop plants, weeds were tested and found the virus had a very wide host range. Out of 68 plants of 17 families tested 54 plants of 11 families were found infective to the TSV. The increasing trend in disease noticed in sowings were taken up between june and August. Thereafter decreasing November., December and January months. Information on the disease severity seasons and leads on the disease situation was worked out as .Y= -16.66+ 0.965X1+0.064 X5- 1.091 X6. The weather factors collectively influenced the disease to the extent of 48 per cent (R2=0.48) . Thrips infestation was maximum in june -july sown crops.Y= -33.85 + 1. 19 X1 + 0.51. The weather factors collectively influenced the infestation of thrips to the extant of 46 per cent (R2 = 0.46) |
