dc.description.abstract | From 0 to 12 weeks, White Leghorn chickens were fed on diets containing 20% rice polishings or 20% deoiled rice bran with 0, 2, 4 or 6% tallow. Replacement of rice polishings with deoiled rice bran did not affect carcass composition. 6% tallow feeding reduced carcass protein (P<0.01) and increased carcass fat content (P<0.01). | en_US |
