dc.description.abstract | Frontline demonstration is one of the useful tool for transfer of technology as it is based on the pedagogy principle of seeing is believing. The demonstrations on whole package in oilseeds crops were conducted on farmer’s fields in different agro-ecological situations during 2014-15 to 2018-19 to show the productivity potential and profitability of Improved Technology. The results showed 24.53% increase in average yield with improved technology (1513 kg/ha) as compared to farmers practice (1215 kg/ha). The additional net returns accrued with IT was Rs 10227/ha. FLDs proved a positive impact on adoption of improved technology on oilseed crops. The Priority should be given to extension agencies to organize FLDs for increasing productivity potential of oilseed crops. | en_US |
