dc.description.abstract | Uterine therapy with antimicrobials has been aimed at ameliorating the effects of acute postparturient metritis, pyometra and endometritis, Intrautering antimicrobial treatment has been used as prophylaxis in animals that have experienced dysticia, foetal membrane retentin or repeat breeding. it is likely that, most is not all, antibiotics and disinfectants that are available to veterinarians have been placed into the uterine of a cow, singly or in various combinations.
