| Abstract/Description: | VL Bhat 202 (VLB 202) is a black soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill) variety developed by the ICARVivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora, Uttarakhand. It is derived from the cross VL Soya 1/EC 361362. It has been recommended for release by SVRC held on 5th February, 2018 at Directorate of Agriculture, Dehradun, Uttarakhand and subsequently notified by the Central Sub-Committee on Crop Standards and Release of Varieties for Agricultural Crops vide notification number S.O. 99(E) dated 6th January, 2020. The specific area of adaptation of this variety is the rainfed organic areas of Uttarakhand hills under timely sown condition. |
