| dc.description.abstract | Occurrence of the scribbled leather jacket file fish, Aluterus scriptus, measuring 670 mm in length and of 1350 g in weight, was recorded for the first time at Kasimedu Fisheries Harbour, Chennai on 24th June 2011. It was caught in multi-day trawlers at a depth of 60-80 m. Scribbled leather jacket file fishes belonging to family Monacanthidae are distributed from tropical to subtropical region. | en_US] |
