| Abstract/Description: | FMD is major livestock disease of transboundary importance affecting cloven-hoofed animals including cattle, pigs, goats and sheep. Tests based on assaying non-structural proteins (NSP) antibodies in animals, particularly targeting the 3ABC antigen, have been widely used for differentiating infected from vaccinated animals. |
