Abstract/Description: | The present case study explores the learners’ participation in MOOC during COVID-19. It is found in general that COVID-19 has necessitated everyone to resort to online learning because of the compulsions of mobility restriction. The statistical analysis showed that many online activities like discussion fora, assignment submission, quiz participation had a positive correlation on the likelihood of course completion. Besides these, the place of learning was found to have a positive correlation with completion rates. It is observed that COVID-19 has positively impacted the participation of learners in activities, as high as 71% in engagement pattern, 55% in participation in discussion, 87% in assignment submission, and 71% in quiz completion. |
