Review of Technical Program under the subtheme Integrated Modelling Framework was reviewed by the expert committee on 13.02.2018 at NASC, New Delhi. There were about 11 institutes made presentations. The meeting was chaired by Dr S Bhaskar, ADG (AAF&CC) and co-chaired by Dr UC Mohapatra, Professor, IIT, Bhubaneswar and Member, NICRA Expert Committee. The outputs and outcomes by each institute were reviewed and suggestions were made by the expert committee. Emphasis was made to test the model outputs with the current season forecast and validate with long term data. It was suggested for more focussed interactions between the members at frequent intervals. The concluding session was chaired by Dr K Alagusundaram, DDG (NRM) and suggested to involve the experts from other than NARS. He further emphasized to make best use of the multi disciplinary experts available in this group and develop indigenous models that can be used for climate change studies.
