| Abstract/Description: | A positive correlation was found to exist between the incidence of lac predators and the density of lac insects. This has helped to devise a cultural method for minimizing predatory losses'. Genetic studies have provided evidence of considerable hybrid vigor in lac insects.A thermoplastic adhesive composition from a mixture of shellac and synthetic monomer in the ratio of 60:40 respectively has been developed and found satisfactory for fixing sun mica (decorative laminates) on table tops and jointing wood to wood surface. |
