| Abstract/Description: | KISAAN (Krishi Integrated Solution for Agri Apps Navigation) is envisaged to help e-agriculture in India. It is developed by ICAR - Directorate of Knowledge Management in Agriculture, to drive smart phone based agriculture in India. KISAAN app integrates more than 100 Agriculture related apps developed by ICAR Institutes in a single mobile app which can be accessed through Android smart phones. KISAAN app has been created with a thought to add convenience to farmer's lifestyle. KISAAN app provides a single interface in multiple Indian languages for Indian Farmers to access agricultural knowledge ranging from cereal crops, horticulture, livestock, poultry, fisheries, dairy, natural resources, agricultural engineering, agricultural education and agricultural extension. KISAAN app will revolutionize the way how an Indian farmer avails information on advanced agricultural technologies, seeds, varieties, and livestock as per their requirement leveraging the current accelerated Internet and smart phone penetration in our country. 1. Single mobile app for all agricultural knowledge requirements of farmer. 2. Intuitive Dashboard in twelve Indian Languages to categorize mobile apps as per Agricultural Commodity, State & Language. 3. Customized search facility for apps, language and state wise. 4. Comprehensive feedback provision with user rating and suggestion for improvement. |
