Abstract/Description: The pr esent investigation was car r ied out to gather infor mation on cr ossability patter n of Populus deltoides and to develop suitable hybrids through controlled crossing. The per cent of successful crosses ranged between 13.35 to 66.64% and was found to be maximum in S1 X L-17/92. Maximum germination is 93.33 % was found in G-48 X L-17/92 and in which per cent of germination ranged between 14.71 to 93.33 %. Similarly, survival per cent ranged between 5.44 to 90.44 % and was found to be maximum in G-48 X S7C11.
