| Abstract/Description: | Balanced sampling plans excluding adjacent units are those sampling plans in which second order inclusion probabilities are zero for pairs of adjacent units and constant for pairs of non-adjacent units. These plans are useful for sampling in situations where the contiguous units in a population are similar.
