dc.description.abstract | Agriculture landis heterogeneous and it is a dvnamicslinked with the soil's physical, chemical and biological properties which are important to maintain the soil health. Sustainable agriculture in problematic soilsis always questionablehecause crops are under salt stress. Addressing major problems in coastal Odisha,a case study was conducted in part coastal in Ganjam block, to evaluate the soil resource and their manageinentunder geospatial environment. Results have shown that soil erosion is elketed by 60.43% TGA. followed byflooding and salinity(32.56 and 17.81%). Assessment of level ofsoil degradation and better management practicescould enhance the crop production in the coastal region. | en_US |
