Abstract/Description: | AUTHOR SUGGESTS EFFECTIVE USE OF BLACK SOILS BY REDUCING EROSION AND RUNOFF AND INDUCING MORE OF PERCOLATION OF RAIN WATER INTO THE SOILS, FOLLOWED BY EFFECTIVE UTILIZATION OF SOIL MOISTURE BY USE OF SUITABLE CROP VARIETIES , PROPER FERTILIZER PLACEMENT AND SUITABLY ADVANCING THE DATE OF SOWING. THE BLACK SOILS HAVING MUCH LESS SEEPAGE PROBLEM , ARE MOST SUITABLE FOR WATER HARVESTING INTO DUGOUT PONDS. |
