Abstract/Description: | DEALS WITH THE ECOLOGICAL STUDIES CONDUCTED AT KOTA IN THE CHAMBAL RAVINES. IT IS INDICATED THAT REMOVAL OF BIOTIC INTERFERENCE STIMULATED RAPID PROGRESSION OF SECONDARY SUCCESSION. IN ALL THE SUCCESSIONAL STAGES THERE IS TENDENCY TO CONVERGE TO MESOPHYTIC SHRUBBY AND TREE COMMUNITIES IRRESPECTIVE OF THE TYPE OF HABITAT OF THEIR INITIATION. |
