WITH SEVERAL TREATMENTS WERE COMPARED AT BELLARY ( KARNATAKA) WITH CONTROL WHICH WAS GROWN IN IRON ORE BURDEN HAVING A PARTICLE DENSITY OF 4.8 Mg m-3. OTHER TREATMENT COMBINATIONS INCLUDE NATURAL SOIL, BLACK SOIL , ORGANIC MANURE AND FLYASH. PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATIONS REVEALED THAT ADMIXING OF ORE- BURDEN WITH BLACK SOIL, FLYASH AND GYPSUM GAVE BETTER SEEDLING GROWTH AND TOTAL BIOMASS PRODUCTION. |
