dc.description.abstract | The present paper embodies to introduce a modified version of the Gompertz growth model, in which a sine wave function modifies a standard version of the Gompertz model resulting a smooth transition between rapid changes in growth due to seasonal or any other variations. The proposed modified model is illustrated with an example considering the length-at-age dataset of Tor putitora from Gobindsagar reservoir, which has shown a significantly improved result as compare to non-seasonal growth models. | en_US |
