| dc.description.abstract | Thrips as vectors through infected pollen transmitting was established. nature of virus - vector relationship understood.Mode of transmission of virus and role of insect vector were established transmission of TSV by thrips in the presence/absence of pollen : Results indicated that the infected pollen dusted over test plants followed by release of thrips or vice versa the SND symptoms developed within a week.
