Abstract/Description: Incursion of moisture laden wind from the Bay of Bengal is very likely to continue over northeast & adjoining east India during next 3-4 days. Under its influence, Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim are very likely to experience fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/thundershowers during next 6-7 days. Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/thunderstorm activity likely to occur over Gangetic West Bengal during the same period and over Odisha on 21st April. • Isolated heavy rainfall, thundersqualls & hailstorms are also very likely over Northeastern states during next 4 days and over West Bengal & Sikkim on 21st & 22nd April and over Odisha on 21st April. • Rainfall activity over south peninsular India (mainly over Kerala and adjoining areas of Karnataka and Interior Tamil Nadu) is likely to increase from 23rd Aprilfor the subsequent 3-4 days. Thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds & heavy rainfall are also likely over these regions during this period
