| Abstract/Description: | The withdrawal line of the Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through Lat. 29°N/ Long.81°E, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjhanpur, Alwar, Nagaur and Lat. 26°N/ Long.70°E. • Conditions are becoming favourable for further withdrawal of SouthwestMonsoon from some more parts of Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan and some parts of northwest Madhya Pradesh during next 2 days. • A Low Pressure Area has formed over Westcentral & adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts. Under its influence, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall and moderate thunderstorm & lightning very likely over Odisha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal during next 4-5 days. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall also very likely over Odisha during 01st-05th and isolated heavy rainfall very likely over Gangetic West Bengal during 01st03rd & over Jharkhand on 03rd & 04th October, 2020. • Fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls very likely over Assam & Meghalaya during 02nd-05th and over Tripura during 01st-05th October, 2020. • Dry weather very likely over most parts of the northwest India during next 5 days. • Moderate thunderstorm with lightning very likely at isolated places over Nagaland, Assam & Meghalaya, east Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada during next 12 hours. |
