Abstract/Description: The effects of environment and work conditions on fatigue of draught buffalo have been studied under controlled condition using an animal treadmill. The physiological, hematological, biochemical, skin temperature, cardiovascular, and muscle strain responses along with distress symptoms of test draught he-buffaloes when exerting a draught of 0, 10 and 14% body weight at 1.5 and 2.0 km/h speed with 0, 5 and 100 inclination of treadmill at two temperatures (22 and 420C) and two levels of humidity (45 and 90%) were studied for four effective hours or time till test draught he-buffalo reached a state of fatigue. Model developed with multiple linear regression technique which showed best fit for physiological, hematological, biochemical, mineral variables, skin temperature, cardiovas-cular, muscle strain parameters and duration of exercise.
