Abstract/Description: Study was carried out to optimise nutrient and water application in paddy variety Sita in canal command area at Patna districts of Bihar. Unconventional field to field irrigation system high loss of nutrients occur. Farmers do not apply fertiliser apprehending huge loss. Experimenting on nutrient and water depth interactions it was found that maximum yield of 7.5t/ha was obtained with 80 kg N, 60kg P in 8cm water regime.
