Abstract/Description: | Application of IBA was found to be significantly effective in inducing rooting, promoting root characters, facilitates earlier sprouting and maximum number of leaves of plantlets stool layers in guava. IBA at 7000 ppm proved to be the most effective for rooting, root characters, establishment and growth characters of planlets of stooling. The survival and plantlets growth under polyhouse was always better than that of open nursery conditions irrespective of IBA concentrations. |
