| Abstract/Description: | a virus disease has been reported in tilapia in ecuador and israel when tilapia is grown in high density aquaculture. The virus is named as tilapia lake virus or "orthomixo viridae". The small fishes gets affected quickly. affected tilapia shows cateract like symptoms in eyes and wounds in body parts and swelling of eyes. detailed management practices has been mentioned in the article. |
