| dc.description.abstract | The withdrawal line of the Southwest Monsoon passes through Lat. 28°N/ Long.83°E, Faizabad, Fatehpur, Nowgong, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Porbandar, Lat. 21°N/ Long.65°E and Lat. 21°N/ Long.60°E. • A cyclonic circulation lies over south Coastal Odisha & neighbourhood in midtropospheric levels and a trough runs from this cyclonic circulation to eastern parts of Bihar across Gangetic West Bengal at 1.5 km above mean sea level. Under the influence these systems: (i) Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls very likely over Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Scattered rainfall with isolated heavy falls over Kerala & Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on today, the 07th October, 2020. • A fresh low pressure area is very likely to form over north Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal around 09th October 2020. It is likely to move northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over central Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 24 hours. Under the influence of this system. (i) Enhanced rainfall activity likely over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and isolated heavy falls also likely over Tamilnadu, Telangana and Andaman & Nicobar Islands from 09th October, 2020 onwards. • Dry weather very likely over most parts of the northwest India during next 5 days. • Moderate thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places very likely over East Madhya Pradesh, East Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Telangana and north Coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 12 hours. | en_US |
