| Abstract/Description: | Underutilized fruit crops refer to those fruits which may be high in value but that are not widely grown. An exact definition of underutilized fruit crops is perhaps difficult. In general, these fruits are consumable in relatively less quantity may be due to less palatable or less availability than other fruits. These fruits may have lesser demand in the market or grown in a limited extent. The research works humid tropical underutilized fruits in India was initiated recently. The production technologies of some humid tropical Underutilized fruit crops are mentioned in this chapter. |
