| dc.description.abstract | The protective immune response of a Vero cell-based live attenuated Peste-des-petits-ruminants virus (PPRV) in goats was studied using serum neutralization test (SNT), C-ELISA and I-ELISA. Two goats were vaccined while 2 were left as untreated controls. It was shown that the vaccinated goats had high levels of PPRV antibodies from 2weeks to 6.5 years after a single vaccination, indicating a protective immune response. These results show that the Vero cell-based live vaccine could provide goats with lifetime immunity against PPRV. | en_US |
