Description It is an established fact that India has one of the largest trained man powers in the world. The problem of unemployment amongst the educated youth leads to unrest in the society which is not conducive for a developing country like ours. Fortunately, some exercise has been done on these considerations. Introduction of 10 + 2 system of education was one of the steps in this direction. Of late, subjects of self-employment have been introduced as the courses of the vocational education. Moreover, a significant amount of the produce is lost each year due to improper post-harvest management practices, making scientific food preservation inevitable.
