Description |
Indian Himalayas are bestowed with enormous diversity of agro-ecological conditions permitting cultivation of wide range of horticultural crops. Many temperate fruits viz; Apple, Pear, Plum, Peach, Apricot, Almond and other nut fruits have been introduced to Indian Himalayas. These crops have been well adopted and started contributing towards National economy through domestic consumption and export since last three decades.
