This paper describes the development of internet based information dissemination system (CISH portal) using most popular open source tools. The website helped in disseminating CISH information and advisories on mango (Mangifera indica L.) technologies to the orchardists. Feedback by orchardists shows that the digital divide does not have severe effect on this sector of agriculture. In this paper technologies used to develop website, feed information and the feedback received have been discussed in details. Open source software is also used for development of the site.
