NUE genotypes identified included K, N and NPK efficient which require less amount of these nutrients than the recommended. Reason being the more white roots/LAI. The first K efficient cassava variety was released under the name ' Sree Pavithra' in 2015. The N efficient genotypes were W-19 and CR 43-8.
