Recommended doses of manures and fertilizers were applied. Disease severity was recorded on 0-9 rating scales. Out of 107 genotypes tested, genotypes P 9-77, P 2432, P 2572 and P 2930 were found resistant, whereas 27 exhibited moderate reaction.
