Description |
These files are part of the dataset "Historical built-up intensity layer series for the U.S. 1810 – 2020", contained in the dataverse “HISDAC-US: Historical Settlement Data Compilation for the United States” (https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataverse/hisdacus). The BUI.tar.gz archive contains a time series if geospatial raster layers with pixel values representing the built-up intensity (BUI, i.e., the sum of indoor areas of all structures in that pixel) at 250m spatial resolution and 5 years temporal resolution. The other archives contain positional, thematic and temporal uncertainty layers (or raster series). The files are organized in .tar.gz archives. The readme file provides additional information. Data source: Zillow Transaction and Assessment Dataset (ZTRAX), Zillow Inc., Parcel (c) Parcel Atlas, and BuildZero Open City Model.
