| Abstract/Description: | A feeding trial was conducted to assess milk production performance of Marwari and Parbatsar goats maintained under two different feeding regimens. One group of does of each breed (P0 and M0) was sent for grazing for 4 h (control) while experimental groups of animals (P1 and M1) were completely stall-fed. It is observed that control groups of does lost their live weight, while the experimental does gained significantly higher live body weight. Marwari and Parbatsar breed goats under stall fed, comfortable environment has better feed conversion efficiency into milk than the grazing goats. |
