Abstract/Description: | In thc prescnt study srmpling for a period of 42 days during monsoon and sampling was cr'icd out at 7, 14,21,2E,3i and 42 days ofthe study periods. eacn saminn! aay de rrcrc colbcad on various shrimp spccies fiom local (gariahae nsh nartcct 'saniting had donc I timcdper week total 6 tineg and for cach spccies 5 sub-sampling anOiotaf 30 rub'sampling/spccies of sbrimp. A total of 20,380 irdividuah rrerp collecLd shows that most abundant shrimp spccics during monsoonis P. monodon (choto UagOany aO ?6 followcd by p. indicus (cbapra) 26%, M. rosenberytt (gardah) and Metapenaeus motK,eenr @arina) 14% and l0%o P monodon (bagdah). Density of differeni shrimp specics calculatcd duriog mourtotr found that most density for aspccies p monodo) (Choto Bagdah) i.e.242.77. Retativc species abundancc for shrimp spccies during monsoon found that 12.53, g.71, 32.si,24.16 and 22 for o/o for M. rosenbergii (stdah), P monodon (bagdah), p monodon (choto bagdah), p, indicus (chapra) and Metapenaeus monoceros (hrina) respectively. Species richness (d) varies from 0-?223-1,0_ll and snecics evenness (J') quantified for six sampling day varies ranges from 0.9561 to 0.9928. The study concludes that variation found is very tess between the different shrimp species. |
