| Abstract/Description: | Lac, a natural resin of insect origin, has an important place in the economy of tribal farmers of Bihar and adjoining states. India is major producer of lac accounting for about 507" of its world trade. Bulk of lac produced is exported and this very fact makes it vulnerable to price machination by traders which ultimately affects the production. |
