| Abstract/Description: | The present investigation was under taken to investigate the possibility to using natural gum extracted from Mango kernel and Cassia seed for block printing on Cotton fabric. These two sources of natural gum are cheap and indigenous. The print quality was assessed by visual examination and by colour fastness test. Experimental observation showed that both the gum can be successfully used for textile printing on cotton fabric as indigenous and natural thickener which is friendly to environment. |
