| Abstract/Description: | Two hybrid in AHT-I, DSH 256 and DSH-263 recorded 23 and 21% higher mean seed yield and 8 and 7% higher oil yield than the check hybrid, NARI-H-23 at national level. These two hybrids have been promoted to AHT-II. The new hybrids, ISH-388 (DSH-388) which recorded 35% higher seed yield (2856 kg/ha) than the check hybrid, NARI-H-23 (2122 kg/ha) and 57% higher than check variety A1 (1816 kg/ha) in multilocation PHT has been entred in IHT-2016. It recorded 44 and 89% higher oil yield (857 kg/ha) than NARI-H-23 (594 kg/ha) and A1 (454 kg/ha), respectively |
