| Abstract/Description: | Total 538 progeny-wise F8 families were planted in wilt sick plot in ABD and the susceptible check, JI-35 and resistant check, 48-1 were repeated after every 20 rows. Nine F9 families of five crosses viz., RG-2368 x RG-2758, RG-2529 x RG-109, RG-2822 x RG-2836, RG-2876 x RG-2822, RG-2008 x RG-2787 have exhibited 0% wilt incidence in wilt sick plot, and 41 F9 families of these crosses had <20% wilt in wilt sick plot. Twenty five S5 families of multiple resistant accession, RG-2787 exhibited 0% wilt in wilt sick plot. I addiiton, 68 progeny-wise S5 families of RG-2787 were screened in wilt sick plot of which 24 were found to be immune to wilt. |
