Abstract/Description: | THE BULLETIN PRESENTS AND DISCUSSES THE RESULTS OF A UNIFORMITY TRIAL CONDUCTED AT AGRA ON NATURAL GRASSLANDS IN RAVINES AT THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS VIZ RAVINE TOP, SLOPE AND BOTTOM ON 24 X 24 m PLOTS. IT IS INDICATED THAT FOR A GIVEN SIZE AND SHAPE OF A PLOT , THE AVERAGE BLOCK EFFICIENCY DECREASED WITH AN INCREASE IN THE BLOCK SIZE UNDER EACH RAVINE LOCATION. IN GENERAL , COMPACT BLOCKS WERE FOUND MORE EFFICIENT UNDER EACH LOCATION. A DECREASE IN LOCK SIZE RESULTED IN AN INCREASE IN EFFICIENCY. |
